Out of three open box heaters I purchased only one looked as if it had ever been opened and the only way I could tell was the box had been taped twice however once open it was packaged like new.
Works like a new one. I now have 2 heat storms in my rv.
I purchased this heater for a friend (i already own one) only to find out that I'd ordered a wall unit instead of a free standing one. I contacted customer service more than 12 times, mostly having to leave a message. The 3 times I got a live person I was assured an rma would be e-mailed to me shortly. NEVER HAPPENED. NO messages acknowledged or returned. The product works fine-which is good BECAUSE THERE IS NO CUSTOMERSERVICE. I have found that a foot kit is available, But a service rep could have told me that so I didn't need to even get an rma or go through high levels of aggravation.
received wrong item, contacted customer services for an exchange, waited one week and still no progress, had to request a return.
I've only had the heater for 24 hours, but it works great. Unfortunately, the leg design does allow a person, who isn't looking at instructions, to easily assemble in a way that the legs do not attach to the unit, but this is minor. Sadly, the instructions show a wall installation template with four mounting points and the directions, both in picture and word, tell you to install the unit to the wall with four screws. The supplied template only allows for two screws and only two screws are provided. This appears to have been a change which did not make it to documentation.
I will not hank a wall heater with only the two top screws, but it won't take me much to implement the two lower screws like they have in the instructions.
